Creative business for creative students

From the 11th of March, a group of graduated students, have set up a student-friendly beauty business, specialising in press-on nails, at Knights Park.

‘Eclair’, a group of graduates from several years ago with one of those being a Kingston University graduate, have come to Knights Park to share their creativity with the artistic Kingston School of Art students. The business believes in “accessible” and “expressive” ways to bring beauty for all students whilst still be cheap, due to the expensive standards of products such as nails.

Eclair have posted on their advertisement on Instagram writing that: “Born from the creative minds of Kingston School of Art alumni, Eclair is more than just a press-on nail brand; it’s a celebration of individuality, design, and the art of self-expression”.

They have started coming to Knights Park during the week, with their prices of the personally designed nails being £20 per set, with free application that’ll last roughly around 6 weeks. Mia Peat, a first-year fashion student had got hers done on the 20th of March and said: “I actually loved them. They were perfect”.

“I thought they were really cheap, and the designs were very detailed. I would’ve paid at least £40 for nails like these.”

“I had a really stressful day with completing assignments. This definitely made my day.”

The beauty business will be continuing to come to Knights Park, with their next appearance on Friday the 29th of March.
